2) much, many, more, most, little, a little, less, least, few, a few, fewer, fewest.а) Перечисленные местоимения употребляются как определения к существительному (т.е. занимают позицию прилагательного). При этом существительное обычно не имеет других зависимых (указательных местоимений, артикля):mistakes — меньше всего ошибок.students — многие студентыtime — наибольшее время, больше всего времениThere was much food for thought in the manner in which he replied — В том, как он ответил, было много пищи для размышлений.
б) Предлог of при этих местоимениях употребляется только перед существительными с артиклем, личным местоимением, притяжательным местоимением или указательным местоимением.the time — в основном, наибольшее времяthem — многие из нихBill had had little jokes with him sometimes; not that Cayley was much of a hand at joking. — Билл иногда шутил с ним; Кэли был не очень остроумен.
